They bring back so many things.

Reunion isn’t just meeting someone again—

it’s meeting the memory,

the feeling in your body,

the weather,

the past version of yourself.

And the gap between then and now.

Reunion quietly brings the past and present

into the same frame.

A temperature you forgot.

A sense that had dulled.

And today, I felt a little warmer.
